Decreasing pay out

Great for protecting a repayment mortgage. And your cover roughly decreases in line with your mortgage. For example, if you chose £100,000 protection over a 25 year mortgage, your cover would reduce to £0 by the end of your term.

Fixed pay out

Ideal for interest only mortgages. You set the pay out and it's fixed for as long as your policy runs. For example, if you chose £100,000 protection over a 25 year mortgage, you’d be covered for this amount any time during that period.

Add critical illness cover at the same time

If you’re diagnosed with a life-changing illness, a cash lump sum could help support you and your family while you figure things out

By paying a bit extra each month, you’ll get peace of mind with cover for 38 illnesses – including heart attacks, strokes and many forms of cancer.

Parents and guardians can cover their children for free when they add critical illness cover for themselves too. Just remember to add critical illness cover when you take out mortgage life insurance, because you can’t add it later.
